Every Monday for two years plus, I’ve been hosting a half-hour call on tech-related subjects.
My co-founder Pip Coburn and I named the sessions Yi-Tan Tech Community Calls, “yi-tan” being Mandarin for “conversations about change.” (“Yi” is change, as in the Yi Jing/I Ching, or book of changes; “tan” is a forum or conversation place.)
We’ve done starfish, Wii, Google, Google, Google and Club Penguin (among other topics). With an open-mike protocol and about 40 people on the line, it’s a fun exercise — like having an intimate conversation with someone interesting while herding cats.
I’ll be posting the invites and post-call notes here.
