I love these chains: Mark Oehlert blogged about Dave Gray’s talk at Shannon Clark’s MeshForum a few months back (all good friends of mine). The talk is now a podcast at the excellent IT Conversations.
In it, Dave and his colleague Dana Smith lead the group through a mapping of their social networks. One of the things Dave asks participants to do is to talk about one word that is significant to each of them, an exercise I use often to introduce groups. It’s fun to hear the network emerge and evolve, especially since I know many of the participants at that MeshForum.
